Century Group was requested by one of its residential landlords to survey a failing wall and to make recommendations on how to resolve a pending H&S issue should the wall collapse. The single skinned wall was leaning out over the pavement and could have become a neussance should it have failed entirely. With a great percentage of the bricks having blown it was recommended to demolish and dispose of the wall through commercial recycling and to replace.
Century Group were instrumental in providing a turnkey solution for a recently vacated retail store on Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth. The condition of the store had been left in an undesirable state by the exiting tenants requiring a deep clean, considerable bulk waste to be removed from site and a number of maintenance tasks completed to return to an acceptable standard. Century took hold of the keys and turned the store around in a matter of days and handed back for marketing and new client attraction.
Century Group was contracted to provide external redecoration expertise to The Point in Boscombe. The exterior metalised supports balcony supports and vertical risers had deteriorated considerably through close proximity to the overcliffe, overlooking the sea. The wind, sand and salt water environmental factors had caused an abrasive effect and worn back the paintwork allowing considerable corrosion to take hold.

Century Group was requested to attend and provide a clearance and deep clean of the loading bay at a national retail supermarket in Poole. The site, which is relatively new by retail standards had suffered an unexpected blocked drainage channel that had overflowed in a recent heavy rain downpour. The loading bay was initially litter picked and the small amounts of paper removed and then comprehensively pressure washed and sanitised with an antibacterial treatment applied for health and safety purposes.

Century Group was initially requested to remove a small section of failed metal railings where some of the vertical supports had corroded through making the section vulnerable to collapse and a potential health and safety risk to the public. Upon removal of the section and closer inspection, it was deemed that the whole of the existing perimeter railings should be replaced with an uprated solution, to include larger vertical supports for improved strength and longevity.
Century Group has been instrumental in coming to the aid of a business leader's appeal to tackle squatters in his central gardens property. The house which was just days from being re-let to new tenants was recently overrun by vagrants whom took unauthorised possession to shelter and accommodate their drug addiction. This caused a considerable setback and upset to the property owner upon finding it occupied and in a fallen state.
